Managed to get a goodly amount of writing done on the plane from Heathrow to Honolulu. The plane flew almost over the top of Edmonton, so I waved to all my friends there! >wave<

I hadn't realised it, but my plane stopped off in San Francisco on the way. I was expecting a stop in LAX, but was pleased to go through SFO since its a much nicer airport. Indeed they seem to have done quite a lot of work there since I last came through. I was impressed. I tried to wave to all my friends in San Francisco, but since you weren't expecting me you probably weren't looking. >wave<

I had my braindead jetlag peice of idiocy for the trip... I bought a couple of books at Heathrow on the way out, one intended as a gift, and promptly left them on the plane in San Francisco. I didn't realise my mistake until I got off the plane in Honolulu, by which time it was a bit late. Ooops!

Slowing down a bit, probably not helped by doing this at 'work' today. We'll have to see how distractions such as doing some observing affect things over the next few days.

Tomorrow i head up to the mountain at 3pm, and then have the rest of the day and night to acclimatise. If I can keep my brain working and fight off jet lag, there are some interesting possibilities for writing a lot tomorrow.
