A bit over 45 minutes in this morning, and around 45 minutes back this evening.
I seem to have got back into my stride, though it has to be said that The Strand was a real mess this morning. It actually got rather difficult to work out what all the hold ups were. At one point I'd just turned onto Fleet Street, only to find a bus essentially parked in the cycle lane with a police car just pulling up behind it, also in the cycle lane. A policeman in what seemed to me to be pretty heavy body armour lept out and ran, as far as I could tell, towards the bus doors. Oh dear, thought I, some trouble here, and, seeing a gap in the traffic in the other lane, made my way past the bus. At which point I see the horribly armoured policeman running right past the bus... and into the local Starbucks. I guess it was a doughnut break!

despotliz's journal, I got beeped at and remonstrated with by a bus driver for not going through a red light.
