Some time back you may recall that I entered a competition to write a space western limerick. Today I got the following message:

You've received an honorable mention and your limerick has been published
at SpaceWesterns.com. You'll also receive $1.

The pay per word comes out as 3.5c per word which, in theory, classifies it as a SFWA pro rate :-)

All the traveling has been cutting into my productivity this month.

Current score is 33780/100000

I would normally have a nice little word meter to show that, but it seems that the Zokutou word counter has a web page problem - it's showing as 'account suspended' at the moment. Any story about this, or has it just been killed by an excess of NaNoWriMo accesses?

Still, at least I'm now over a third of the way through!
