Protesters not Guilty of Criminal Damage

Interesting verdict in the case of the Kingsnorth protesters who have been found not guilty of criminal damage for their protest at the coal fired power station because they believed they were helping to prevent further damage.

Any lawyers out there care to comment how this might affect future climate change protests?
