purplecthulhu at 07:30pm on 03/10/200650 minutes in and 50 minutes back today. Lots of slow downs at traffic lights, and there was a nasty headwind this morning. Still faster than the tube door to door though!
Two interesting things sighted this morning...
In Hyde Park the Horseguards were practicing in full garb on large black mounts. Most impressive! I guess this is in preparation for Rememberance Day.
More worrying was the red mini-van parked illegally near the major junction at the end of Bethnal Green Road with the heavy smell of cannabis leaking from it. As I zoomed past I could see that the driver, and presumably the person he was talking to, were getting thoroughly spliffed up.
