My daily walk to the tube station takes me past what some estate agents would call some live-work units. These are old Victorian places with several floors of flats and what appear to be old shop fronts on the street. These old shops are now flats and/or work places. I'm completely unsure what most of these are, but I spotted something odd by one today.
As I walked down the street I spotted something on the pavement, and a pair of guys trying to photograph it. So I wandered over to see what it was.
It was a rather nice piece of chalk street art, in several colours, portraying a curly haired blonde face, possible a self portrait, and with some works written underneath. There was also a trail of arrows pointing to it from accross the street, also with words attached.
Putting the words together, I found it said (names changed to protect the innocent, and because I can't remember them):
"To Dave and Andy at Foundation 33 - I still really want the job, Jane"
I'm sure there's an interesting story here, but i guess we'll never know.
