purpletigron's mutton curry went down well as well. Lots of good company and conversation. Things turned out well so that nobody had to share a sleeping room with anyone they weren't used to. The usual chaos this morning with people leaving things behind and an extended, browsing breakfast. Arguably I'm still browsing!
Many thanks to all those who came, couldn't come, or who we forgot to invite. Special thanks to the LJer who sent us a housewarming present!

The ratatouille was lovely too, but the mutton curry had disappeared before I arrived.
In spite of dodgy directions from Steve and Anne I managed to get back to the motorway and home safely (somewhere between 4 and 5am, yikes! I drove about 320 miles yesterday, which, given the first 2.5 hours covered 30 miles, is actually more impressive than it sounds!!)
A lovely house and hopefully I'll get invited back again <grin>
