About 45 minutes in (got distracted at the door so didn't note the time) and a bit less than 45 minutes back.
The weather is much improved, though there were some annoying headwinds in the parks both ways. This does, though, seem to have brought out the suicidal pedestrians. There was much deploying of the bell and one deployment of the scream. I wondering if, like Sunday afternoons and Bank Holidays with driving, the first summery weather of the year brings out people who've forgotten how to be pedestrians?
Lots of horseguards seen this morning. One lot were riding in circles in Hyde Park doing some kind of drill, and another lot were in full cloaks and gear getting ready to change the guard. That gear must be very hot in summer!
And on a geographical note, i realise that I've been attributing bell ringing practive to Spitalfields when in fact its Shoreditch. Yes - I can hear the bells of Shoreditch, so I must be becoming a cockney. Gor luv a duk!
