I have encountered a new hazard on the road - trees. Or to be more precise trees trying to have sex with my nose, eyes and throat. Yes - its hay fever season for me now that the plane trees are out in London. I should have guessed this the other day when I had a sneezing fit while waiting at a set of ttraffic lights on the way home (rapidly followed by a chorus of 'bless you's from the other cyclists at the lights - they're nice people!). So today I tried to use the bandanna-with-filter that I inherited from![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
purpletigron. It did help somewhat with the hay fever, but it didn't help too much with the breathing. It seems I suck too hard when I breathe. It may be that I could fit it better but suspect that the real answer is going to be one of the more solid-framed filter masks that you can get.
I suspect I'll be visiting a bike shop soon, looking for one.
