AKICILJ... Shooting at the Olympics

One of the Olympic sports is pistol shooting. However, possessing pistols is illegal in the UK, thanks to panicked government action after Dunblaine, to such an extent that British Olympic pistol shooters complained very vociferously. How is this going to be handled in 2012? Are all Olympic pistol shooters going to be arrested at their port of entry? Is this event going to be held on the Isle of Man?

Enquiring minds want to know...

Don't know, but I believe it was mentioned that the shooting would be at Bisley...

Apparently, there is to be a special exception made for the Olympics, as with the 2002 Commonwealth Games. The British team will be training abroad, I guess...
