FList oddness

You guys are odd...

I try to get you to respond to all kinds of things - political screeds, book reviews, rants and raves. But it takes a short post on, essentially, academic snobishness to produce 65 comments and counting - must be one of my most popular posts ever!

A significant chunk of your list eithe rhas or wants to have a title, or knows people that do. Plus you specifically asked a clear question that would engage; I clicked to read the comments because I knew you'd get people with opinions on it.

Sometimes my best written posts get no feedback at all, which is annoying, but ask a question at the end, especially one that engages with people because they have experience of it, and you'll get many many answers. And yes, I've been planning to write a post on this subject for ages...
