Just after I decided to do NaNoWriMo, I got email from the Deta Green people (a modern Cthulhu Mythos background) I've been doing some collaborative fiction with. It was my turn to write a chapter, and this was to be the penultimate chapter in this year's project. Quite a responsibility!

So I pondered what to write, and then set to on Saturday. A bit of revision and editing over the next few days, and it was done.

I sent it to the project editor last night, and this was his reaction:

So I'm feeling rather pleased and well limbered for November's work.
