Odd commute today as (a) I was carring a fair bit of luggage back from Birmingham and (b) my route to work was from Marylebone railway station rather than from home. So this morning's time doesn't count. This evening I was taking things easily because of the larger luggage load, but my time was still about 47 minutes. So the luggage and taking it slower didn't make much difference! Conclusion from this trip? I don't like cycling with a rucksack on my back.

Shaftsbury avenue is a disaster area at the moment since they're doing the water mains there.
