Reached 50 journeys rather inauspiciously today with a puncture on the way in. Also first cycle trip into work in fog.
Time in about 80 minutes. Would have been much more if I'd walked all the way with the injured bike but I decided to say sod it and hailed a taxi which probably saved me 20 minutes or more of walking. I did get a nice view of the horseguards though as I was walking along south carriage way as they were en route to change the guard.
Time back was between 45 and 50 minutes. From this you can surmise that I fixed the puncture. First time I've done this and it would have been much harder and messier without the excellent advice and help of our esteemed system manager and cycling guru
julietk to whom many thanks (and probably some beer).
And I'm not impressed by whoever was scattering little shards of broken glass on my route to work, but such is life as a cycle commuter.
