Lucky tonight...

I've just started taking scientific data on Subaru, one of the largest telescopes in the world. I got a tour of the dome before we started and it is a truly awesome piece of engineering.

While the sky isn't perfect it's not as bad as it looks. I feel very privileged to be here using this amazing telescope tonight!
