Travels

The summer travelling season is nearly upon us again!

On Friday I depart for California. I'm spending the weekend with D&K WANOLJ. I'm then going to a conference in Pasadena. On Thursday afternoon I leave that and head to Edmonton to see [livejournal.com profile] purplejavatroll et al.. Yay! And then head to Boston to do something for NASA. Home again on the Friday.

I'm not back for long before I'm off again. This time its to Hawaii, leaving on 2 July, observing at JCMT from 5 -9. I'll also get to stay with T&F WANOLJ (as far as I know). Then its to Edmonton again. Yay! And then I fly back home via Montreal, though am only changing flights there, so I won't get to see [livejournal.com profile] papersky. I'm managing to do this trip almost entirely on Air Canada, so I can stay away from the continental US, which seems a good idea at the moment.

After that I have a bit of time to catch my breath before I go to an aikido summer school with [livejournal.com profile] purpletigron. Yay!...

Am I allowed to feel slightly jealous that there's no 'brief chance to see [livejournal.com profile] purpletigron. Yay!' in this itinerary?

*Phew*! That's a lot of travelling! It'll be nice to see you. Are you sure you can't stuff [livejournal.com profile] purpletigron into one of your suitcases, too?

My suitcases aren't quite the right size, and tigron's do even worse than cats in the hold - Umaru Dikko class is not to be recommended...

The June visit is really just a long weekend, but I'll be back for longer in July.

You may want to ask about Crystal's shiraz tasing since we're planning to go to that...
