So I'm gradually working my way through my West Wing DVDs, and I'm about half way through season 1 - yes, I'm slow- and its the episode where the Secretary of Agriculture gets to stay behind in the White House in case something nasty happens during the State of the Union address.

And the character turns up and...

SHOCK HORROR!!! Its the Mayor from Buffy Season 3!

Now this State of the Union is in Jan 2000, according to internal chronology, while the Mayor was dispatched at graduation in May/June 1999. This means a resurrected Mayor could have been in post as secretary for agriculture for a while before he appears in Jan 2000.

So what demonic deals did he have to make to get back from the dead? What's he doing in the Bartlett White House? And does the agriculture department have some special supernatural role? Is it, perhaps, in charge of the Initiative, and was the resurrected Mayor involved with Prof. Walsh's experiments after his appointment?

Enquiring minds want to know!
Mood:: 'excited' excited
Music:: I'm off to Worldcon in the Morning!
