purplecthulhu at 12:00pm on 20/05/2004My laptop TiBook, Hastur, is back, and seems to be working again!
This is less than a week since it was shipped to Apple for repair under AppleCare. That's pretty damn good service if you ask me. They hadn't even messed with the hard drive, so I don't need to restore from backup! It looks like they've done a motherboard replacement, but have left most of the rest untouched.
In other news, I saw the BBC4 Battle of the Books programme last night - Brave New World vs VALIS with several LJ luminaries present - I identified![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
alexmc and greengolux but I'm sure there were others. It was a good programme, with Ken Campbell delivering a wonderful speech, which totally flabergasted Mariella Frostrup. She really didn't understand, did she... Well done to all who took part!
