Well, Elise seemed to want people to do this quiz. This is what I got, which
I'm somewhat puzzled by. I thought I was more of a geek than this!

You are 49% geek
You are a geek liason, which means you go both ways. You can hang out with normal people or you can hang out with geeks which means you often have geeks as friends and/or have a job where you have to mediate between geeks and normal people. This is an important role and one of which you should be proud. In fact, you can make a good deal of money as a translator.

Normal: Tell our geek we need him to work this weekend.

You [to Geek]: We need more than that, Scotty. You'll have to stay until you can squeeze more outta them engines!

Geek [to You]: I'm givin' her all she's got, Captain, but we need more dilithium crystals!

You [to Normal]: He wants to know if he gets overtime.

I'm only 45%. But this was no surprise. The people at work already tell me that I'm a geek liason. In a sense, it's what I'm known for.

You're missing a </td> somewhere in there and breaking my friends page. Can you stick in an <lj-cut> or something!

It works fine on other friends pages...

Is there perhaps a bug in your page layout HTML?

No, it happened with another version of that test on Sunday - we tracked it down to a missing &<lt;/td&gt; in the cut and paste code. I do have a fairly table heavy friends page layout but it's been through the Dreamweaver debugger :-)

Odd then that it doesn't mess up other friends page formats...

I'll see what I can find.

Ack! No! I wasn't asking anybody else to take it! I was taking it for weird reasons of my own. I am indeed Up To Something, but it's not a quiz; it's much n-- {slaps self silly} -- sorry. It's for a better thing than that. Um, I didn't make it up, either.

Well, I'm at least 54% geek by their reckoning, but since there were several questions which didn't have the correct answer available, I reckon I exceed that minimum by some margin.

BTW, the formatting on this page is totally screwed in my browser, too - the comments are above the main entry, for example.

I came up 52%, which was a bit of a shock - even if I do wander off datamining for my friends in my spare time - but I think it was the music that tipped the scales.

Perhaps you've collected insufficient obscure jazz, blues and classical to be a serious high-scorer on this scale??

Ha! I outgeek you! 52%. Which is odd, to say the least. And the quiz looks just fine on my friends page.
