Got back from BCRM's christmas party, the first of the season as always, at about 1pm. Did a few things aroudn the flat, then went out for a cycle ride. They say cycling is good for hangovers, as long as you can move, and this does seem to have helped. Went down the canal to Canary Warf (30 minutes gentle cycling as opposed to 1.25 hours of fast walking) and then wandered along the Thames path towards the south end of the Isle of Dogs. The home again. The route back took me through Mile End Park and over the Green Bridge on Mile End Road, which was fun.
Nastily strong head winds all the way, but a good work out to make up for being rather sedentary for the rest of the weekend.
Time for a snack now!
