purplecthulhu at 07:26pm on 19/03/2007A bit over 45 minutes each way today, which isn't bad given the weather and the fact that this is my first run after being away for several weeks. [Looking back I see that its more like 6 weeks since I cycled in, thanks to trips, weather, and other commitments!] I could dertainly feel some lack of condition and practice, and I was rather saddle sore when I got into work.
I misjudged the weather seriously on the way home, and ended up getting snowed, sleeted and rained on. Nothing too heavy, but enough to make my fingers - sticking out of my fingerless cycling gloves - were painfully cold by the time I got home.
I think I'll wait for the current cold snap to go away before doing this again!
Very fine displays of daffodils in the royal parks this morning, especially Green Park.
