Bearing in mind that I am a professional astronomer, or at least try to be, should I regard these results as a success or a failure????
| You scored 100% background knowledge, 75% solar system, 100% stars, and 80% galaxies! |
| That's it! Thanks for taking the test and please take a moment to rate it. This test samples your knowledge of contemporary topics in astronomy. It is by no means comprehensive. If you did well on it, you're pretty well versed in astronomical knowledge. If you didn't do so well, but would like to know more, your local university may have a course in astronomy just for you! A complete answer key is available at http://www.livejournal.com/users/wcg/198998.html Keep looking up! BillG |

You should regard them as meaning that no one else of your age and gender has done the quiz, yet!

I decided to try it after Myles did the 'I bet you'd do better than you'd think' speech. I got two right out of the first ten plus one accurate guess. On that sample I gave up, so your score still beat the pants of the medievalist.

You scored higher than 99% on solar system
You scored higher than 99% on stars
You scored higher than 99% on galaxies
i'm thinking failure, myself.
