It's interesting to see that the Commons Public Accounts Committee and Diamond disagree over their budgeting of running costs. In this instance I think I trust the Commons. The cancelation of UK involvement in the ILC is also made more surprising when you find out it was rated 'the highest priority for a major new accelerator' just months ago by the research councils.
The petition is still open if you, your family, your students, and your dog haven't signed.
