purpletigron I now have a Brompton as an extra folder. It's much smaller than my main bike, and is thus much more transportable. I brought it down on the train from Brum today, and cycled from Marylebone to College, then from College home this evening. All went fairly well with the bike, but there's some issue with the lights which weren't working properly. They're driven by a dynamo so this might need looking at.
Still, I now have a spare for visitors or for trips where a larger folding bike isn't workable.
Times not properly recorded on the way back, but the time home wasn't too bad.
Interesting new road hazard this evening - fox crossing!
