RTD's Daleks are great, don't get me wrong. They've sorted out the stairs issue, the sink plunger clearly is much more than that, and the new effects are just astounding - the way the dalek books always said they were.
But the problem is that they're now so out and out hardcore badass that the entire species has to be wiped out every time they come back. Which brings all sorts of other necessary elements.
Can't we just have them around in smaller numbers doing usual Dalek things without the whole universe being threatened? The terror created by the single Dalek in... Dalek... was frankly much more effective than the reality bomb in tonight's finale.
*And as for Z-neutrinos... Everyone knows that Zs aren't leptons so they can't have an associated neutrino. Where did these script writers get their degrees from anyway?
