Lot's of mess on the road this morning. The Strand was blocked up by a dead bus, a badly parked FedEx van and more buses than you can shake a stick at. No idea why it was so blocked beyond the FedEx van but it was so bad I had to walk a lot of it.
Trip home was good, warm but not too hot, with lots of attractive cyclists and pedestrians wandering around in summer clothes. Suicidal tourists were much in evidence today, as well as plenty of idiots, some of whom, sadly, were on two wheels. Lots of police around this morning, including a cluster outside City Thameslink for some reason, and a squadron of five bicycle riding police at Hyde Park Corner. No idea if something odd was going on.
