A bit over 45 minutes in, a bit under 45 minutes back. The south side of Hyde Park is a real mess at the moment thanks to road works, so I got slowed down there this morning and at the bottom end of Green Park where they seem to be erecting a brigade of portaloos. I guess this must be in preparation for Garden Party season at Buck House, but why they can't put the loos in the palace gardens I don't know. And they're going to close the cycle path on Constitution Hill next week which will be a real pain. So the trip in would have been faster without all this.

The trip back was a good run, but even then had some delays in the West End as there's a large chunk of Wardour street dug up (again) and Shaftesbury Avenue was being worked on as well. So in ideal conditions I would have been even quicker.

It wasn't there tonight, but there were some lunatics with a vintage fire engine pumping water into the Serpentine last night...
