Um, a time zone would be good?

Hope all goes smoothly!

Just under two-and-a-half hours to go, if that helps.

Once I went to the link I found the time but thought mentioned the time zone might be helpful in the post. (Love your icon, btw!)

Thanks! Had to watch with the sound off, as I'm at work, but from the hugs and hand-shaking, it appears to have gone well!

I see the satellites have now separated from the dispenser; at what point do you get to open the champagne?

About then :-)

Of course people wanted to start before separation but we... dissuaded them :-)

Nice to see they're well on their way. It'll be interesting to follow the data they send back.

Thanks! Following the data will be a long story :-)

You might say science has so far been one of the longest stories told :-) It's definitely an interesting aspect of cosmology that we revise our worldview from time to time, so I'm curious as to how Herschel and Planck will influence our outlook.

Looking at 16:41 GBT I see the live coverage says Mission Success. I haven't time to stay and see the video but congratulations!

And very lovely it was too.

As was Herschell's music in the earlier coverage.
