Tube strike day mandated bike travel. About 50 minutes each way which wasn't good, but was with distinctly different traffic patterns and a not so good head wind this morning. I came back rather later than usual thanks to a thing at College which might also have contributed to slowness as I'd already eaten.
I hope the woman with the drooping pannier rack made it to Charring Cross safely. It was threatening to do to her what mine did to me some time back - fall around the back wheel making the bike suddenly immovable since the screws holding it onto the main bike frame had come loose. I suggest a battle field fix to her at Hyde Park Corner which would at least prevent that happening.
Other sights - household cavalry practicing this morning, with attendant tourists gumming up the cycle path, and rather a lot of drunk people around city bars on the way home this evening.
