It's all related to the need for lower temperatures in reproductive cells. Testicales rely on being outside the body and dangling around in a vulnerable location. Ovaries, though, have their own refrigeration system - a minibar!

Its amazing what you learn on panels at Worldcon!

I really can't see a court accepting that as an argument for someone walking around the SECC with their testicles flapping in the breeze.
